Happy Mother's Day + 1,
Hey, here's a shout out to all my hot mama friends!
I had a great Mom's day! Rob got me a (square) waffle maker, I've been looking for one that cooks square waffles for EVER! My grandma had one, and I loved her waffles....so, isn't that sweet! Tylar made me a cloth-covered hanger, to hang up my "silkies"! I bet Rob wishes I still owned some silkies to hang up!! ha ha! Tate and Tucker (with the help of Teacher Tammy) made me some pictures on tiles with their hand print! Tate's is a rocket ship, and Tucker's is a flower. To anyone who is interested, I have reserved the ceramic's place where the kids made these presents (Glazy-Dayz) for a mommy's night out on May 22nd. I think we'll try and start at 6:30, and go until about 9:30-10:00! It's a paint your own kind of place, and super cute!! Call me if you have any questions! I would love to make this a regular thing, so be there...or be square! ;o)
We also had the Gardiner's and the Angel's over for a yummy dinner; it was delightful! At least there were two other Mom's there to help me cook and clean up! That is a topic up for discussion next family counsel! Daddy's are supposed to do that on Mother's Day....am I right!? ;o) Any who! I really did have a great day, and even though I missed church (Tylar was sick) I felt like the luckiest Mom out there! Thanks to my hubby and great kids! I even got to talk to my Mom, and got phoned by almost all of my siblings (Kelly??) To top off the whole day, I got to be in bed, and asleep by 9:30! What are the odds? Thanks for a great day! xoxo ~A~

bum hole-ee-o
This is hysterical! The boys were running around like this a couple of months ago, and over heard me tell Rob that it reminded me of "bungholio" from Beavis and Butthead. (back in the day, right!?) Tucker thought he heard me, and now they call this the "bum hole ee-o" dance! What a couple of bum holes!! HAHAHA! I figure these are great blackmail photos!!

Sunny shiny day!!
YAY! Today was one of the prettiest days here in the land of the liquid sun!! I am struggling with allergies...but spring might finally show it's face around here! One quick note, Tate scored his first goal today!! I am so proud of him! Tylar's swim team had some practice relay's on Thursday, and she won 5 of them!! I really think this swimming thing is going to be her thing! She taught herself to swim when she was 2...honestly, underwater and everything!! As for Tucker....hmmm....oh! One quick story that I definitely want to remember: On Thursday, I dropped him off at preschool, and he was busy playing when I left so I didn't bug him and say good-by. I was texting on my way out of the parking lot, so NOT paying attention. Just as I was pulling out of the parking lot, and into the street I looked in my rear view mirror, and saw his teacher running after me with Tuck in tow crying his eyes out!! I stopped and got out of the car, and Tuck said, "you didn't give me loves and kisses, Mommy!" It was the sweetest thing EVER! I thanked his teacher for not ignoring that, and for giving me such a precious moment to hug and kiss my little boy!!
K- Rob just got home with the babysitter, so I better ski-daddle! XOXO

My Apologies!
Okay, so after a tongue-lashing from my good friend Rebekah (tee-hee) I am posting an apology to my amazing husband! I am sarcastic by nature, and get carried away in that sometimes! I really DO appreciate my manly man!! He is good at lots of things...just not super handy with handy-man stuff. I realized that I post a lot of digs at Rob, and I promise to do better. After all, it is definitely due to his hard work and dedication as a provider that we even have this beautiful house to live in!! (Blinds, or no blinds!) So...here's my April new year's resolution ;o) Love you Robbie! xoxo!! XOXO!!
PS. Thanks Bekah

The kids started in their "new" school today! After a another ridiculous realization that I am DEFINITELY not super mom...I decided to transfer Tylar and Tate to the elementary school that is in our district. It only took me two days of driving back and forth, back and forth, back and forth to their old school to realize that it was a crazy idea to keep them there! I really think that this is going to be a better situation all around. Tylar has two of the sweetest girls from her primary class in our new ward, in her class at school! And her teacher happens to be a member of the church in our stake. Tate will be in all day Kindergarten now, which suits him just fine! He was so pumped about being able to have lunch at school! I got great reports from both of them when they got home today, so I'm feeling better about the decision tonight. Tucker wasn't so sure this was his favorite plan, however. He kept asking me when the kids were going to be home....he has preschool tomorrow, so thank heaven for that!!
We are settling in nicely here. I got most of the boxes unpacked, and put up some pictures which really made it feel like "home". We had such a good day yesterday with some wonderful friends that came over for dinner. It was pouring down rain, and about 40 degrees yesterday...so not really spring-like weather...but Easter non the less! I really feel so blessed and grateful to be happy and healthy, and to have the gospel in our lives. Easter is one of my favorite holidays. If you haven't had the opportunity to hear the talk given by Elder Holland at general conference last week, FIND IT!! I actually recorded conference on our DVR for Rob because he was drilling for the National Guard last weekend. So we watched that clip tonight for family home evening. It is one of the most powerful talks I've ever heard. I just love when you can see and feel the love the apostles have for Christ as they speak of him. It is truly powerful. So, I can't stress enough, to go out and find a copy of this talk!
I decided to make curtains for some of the windows in our house. Mostly because Rob about blew a gasket while trying to install our blinds. It scares me that the man performs surgical procedures on human beings, but can't put up a *#@% set of blinds!! Anywho...I'll have to post some pictures of the finished products because I'm pretty tickled with my little self! They have turned out pretty good so far. I really lucked out to find a great sale at our local JoAnn's. They are moving to a bigger location, so all of their home decor fabric is 50% off!! I was able to get some really pretty material for a great price, which makes me love the curtains even more!! Well, that seems to be enough rambling from me tonight! Take care, and take care of each other! xoxo

We have internet!! YAY! It's only been a week since I've been without an internet connection...but I'll tell you what, I never want to be without it again!!! It's like the microwave, you don't realize how much you need it until it's gone!
We FINALLY got moved in to our new house! Thanks to some amazing friends, and a wonderful dilligent husband, it's been fairly painless. We did, however find a water leak tonight. The boys were laying down for bed, and felt little drops of water on their heads! AAAAHHHH! The master bathroom has a huge tub in it, and we think that's what leaked because it's right above their bedroom. We noticed the faucet on the tub wasn't sealed like it should be, but thought it would be okay since we don't use the tub every day.....DUH!? I guess we were wrong! We have a plumber coming over asap in the morning, cross your fingers!
Other than that bit of unexciting news, things are buzzing right along. The kids go back to school on Monday! That's a big yippee skippee!! Don't know if I'll like taking them to school every morning, but so goes it.
I am too pooped to pop tonight, so later!
